Did you know Minnesota has one of the most strictest window tinting laws in the U.S.? We can help you to legally tint your car darker than the legal limit by getting an eye prescription from eye doctors*. Just let us know if you are interested…
Eyebrows (dark strip on top of windshield) can also be legally applied if prescribed by your eye doctor. We usually apply 15% light transmission film for eyebrows.
Windshield | No tint is allowed |
Front Side Windows | 50% or lighter |
Back Side Windows | 50% or lighter |
Rear Window | 50% or lighter |
Multiple Purpose Vehicle (MPV):
Windshield | No tint is allowed |
Front Side Windows | 50% or lighter |
Back Side Windows | No Limit |
Rear Window | No Limit |
*Medical exemptions, such as an optometrist prescription, are allowed, in which case the vehicle can be tinted as dark as the prescription specifies. Though the car may still get pulled over, the prescription should be kept in the glove box and pulled out if the officer specifies illegal window tint as the reason for the stop. Most manufacturer glass has a slight tint to it so make sure to take that in to account on the percentage written on your prescription.
